4th of July

A year ago today this amazing woman messaged me out of the blue as I was headed over to Gina Rogers’ 4th of July party, she was driving behind me saying that she saw me. I wasn’t expecting to see her, and immediately arriving made my way past other fuckery to plop my posterior down next to her, I had made it a point on a couple of other occasions to seek her out.

I knew she was gorgeous. I knew she was smart and funny. Did not think at all that she was even the smallest bit, teeny tiniest bit impressed by my awesomeness. Annnnd she wasn’t. I left not soon after this picture was taken, and was told repeatedly later on that I was talking entirely too much about her by people who are by and large not at all a part of my life any more.

Alas! This morning I woke up next to this absolutely wonderful human being, I still talk about her entirely too much
