It’s 10:31PM and my love is snoozing on my arm while I write this, we got her a birthday breakfast, then she worked, surprised me by coming home early while I was trying to set up a surprise tres leche cake from El Palote, we went to Ruibal’s and Calloway Nursery and got plant things, then hit up Targét for a couple of things, came home and she handed out candy to trick-or-treaters while I got dinner from Spiral which…

I at least spent the day being productive… That is until my wife gets home and finds out I’ve subjected her office to my photography nerd stuff, I usually have my studio stuff in the garage, but it’s as cold as a warlock’s peacock in there.

My gorgeous date was working on a Level III Hangry before chips and salsa arrived! (Update 01/29/2026: this was one of the last times we dined in at this Spiral location, it became entirely too popular with… the wealthy folks. I think we stood in line for an hour and when we did get seated, we got to hear all the hot goss about Becky and Lindsey and Maddie the Baddie from every table surrounding us! >.> Then covid happened…
